Kreem Kup Drive in in Wamego

I enjoy eating at local restaurants. Kreem Kup is a blast from the past but an overall enjoyable experience with good food. I think their burgers are a great value!

It's a nice old fashioned burger type place... With chicken and other fast food. Onion rings were tasty, but quite greasy. I've had better pork tender sandwiches. Their main claim to fame is their soft serve ice cream. Very good and at better prices than competitors. Even with the aforementioned weaknesses, I'll go back next time we're in the area. With such a broad range of menu items, I'm betting I can find a few favorites.

Very smooth and tasty icecream cyclones. Friendly servers. Dining area decor right out of the 70s. Very clean and great a.c. on a hot summer day. Prices very reasonable.

The food is always good and they serve the best ice cream.

It was OK. Got a cheese steak & it wasn't that great. Small size with a big price. Shake was goid.

Cannot beat the Kup!I used to live in Riley, Kansas. My father owned a widow cleaning business. Every time we went to work in Wamego I loved going and getting our lunch at Kreem Kup. Always a great meal. I highly recommend this place.

On the expensive side but delicious. The onion rings were excellent.

I'm not native to Wamego, so I was excited to experience a part of my boyfriend's childhood nostalgia by coming to this quaint diner! The ambiance maintains that 60s Mom&Pop feel. Food is reasonably priced; both of us had combo meals for under $20 which is nearly unheard of in this day and age. I'm sad I didn't get dessert, as their food is so filling (and sooo delicious) Their food presentation is really cute and down-to-earth, it truly adds a genuine touch of Kansas's midwestern charm. I can guarantee this will be a required stop with every trip to Wamego that we make

I love this place and always stop in when I'm in town. The staff is great, especially Donna. The restrooms are clean. The food is hot and tasty. They are so sweet to their older customers and make sure they are taken care of. Don't be fooled by the interior, this is a great place to eat.

The Kreem Kup is a great place to eat food and delicious ice cream and enjoy time with the family. The workers are amazing nice people and the atmosphere is great. Most definitely a 5 Star place.

All the workers seemed annoyed that we were in the store. Great food but customer service very low.

I tried to order a grilled cheese sandwich, which had been suggested by the cashier on a previous visit when I asked for a meatless option. This time I was told no. I asked if the hot ham and cheese could simply be made without the ham. Again no. So I ordered a small salad and and fries. I got the smallest salad I have ever been served and no fries. Disappointed because the last time we went we were happy with the food and service. But this time I left hungry and frustrated. I don't think we'll be going back.

This is like an old fashioned burgers joint. Food made to order, shakes spun by hand, and everything just the way you remember.

Good kids working hard and good food. Make sure you ask for ketchup and napkins, though, ours got forgotten.

BBQ beef sandwich was really good and came with a large portion of fries. The fries were ok. Strawberry shake was also good. Fast service and reasonable prices.

Place looks small from the outside, actually huge inside. Competitive prices to other chains. Extremely relaxing atmosphere. I got the half pound burger, fries, and coke for 8 bucks. Couldn't eat it all, brought half home. I give them A++ for cleanliness. Absolutely spotless.

Nice small town place. It's Clean and the food is pretty good. Only issue was that they got my order wrong....but they fixed it and the food was good.UPDATE: stopped today for 2 pieces of chicken..was told 10-11 minutes....still sitting here waiting after 35 minutes! UPDATE AGAIN...after 40 mins of waiting we were told they forgot to cook our food..so it will now be another 15 mins Or so .. seriously...nearly an hour for 2 pieces of chicken!? Maybe of the staff wasn't sitting out back on their cell phones...they would have remembered my order!!!!!

This is a place then it's been quite a while since I've been there when I was going there regularly when I worked over in Manhattan we visited it quite often but this particular time me and the wife went there I was pleasantly surprised at the change in the menu but the food I was not surprised with as usual it wasn't good it was fantastic you're never going to go wrong eating there I've never had anything but great service from the place people are friendly food is fantastic just an outstanding place to eat you get well worth what you pay for

Stopped in for supper and their famous Kreem Kup. Older building; they've been in this location for years. Clean. Friendly high school counter staff. The crispy chicken fried steak sandwich was good and hot. I warmed my hands over it before beginning to eat. Bun-sized and it was a large bun. Onion rings were okay. Probably hand-dipped there, but not my favorite. Husband loved them though! The chocolate Kreem Kup (ice cream cone) was delicious. Creamy soft serve, which I ate with a spoon, until I reached the crunchy biscuit cone. Yum!

Great food and ice cream! Old school place with great service.

Not gonna lie, the service was horrible this visit. Waited 30 minutes for our stuff when we continually watched people after us get theirs. We had to ask for it and they said "we're not necessarily doing them in order"....let's just say, we had to get the manager involved after that one. Usually it's not that bad, though...

We love eating at the Kreem Kup any time we are in or going through Wamego!

The taste deserves 5 stars but they're so slow to make an order I've got to give them a 4 star.

Only Drive Thru open due to COVID. Waited in drive thru for awhile, which is understandable. Just wanted a snack, tried the 3 chicken nugget kids meal, given large amount of fries for kid portions, nuggets were a little lacking -only 1 was nugget size compared to McD or Wendys... the other 2 were "nibbles" about a 1/3 of the size. Food tasted good though. Lemonade and chocolate chip cookie was ok. Would try again.
